Bong Twai La

I know this is a very delayed post, but I still want to share my very first out of the country trip as I always wanted to have a 'travel blog.' =)

First stop is Victoria Peak

There's a museum at the entrance that tells visitors about the history the tram and peak had over the years.

Here's one part of the museum.

We rode the tram on our way to the peak. It amazing how they made the tram because while we're ascending you could feel how steep the angle is. It seems like we're slanted 80 degrees.

At the peak.

This place is so high that those buildings behind me appear small.

Avenue of Stars

Hongkong's walk of fame.
This where you could see the stars with names of famous Chinese actors such as Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Chow Yun Fat and other significant people who contributed to their entertaiment industry.

Action!

infamous boat

Maybe this is their version of Oscar's?

The legend, Bruce Lee.

Jackie Chan's Star with hand print.

Harbour City

Harbour City with its beautiful Christmas decors.

We rode this ferry boat to get to te Harbour City Mall.

I also love their double decker bus, their transportation system is well organized, especially the way of loading and unloading.

Po Lin Monastery and the Big Buddha

What I love about this place is it feels so serene even though a lot of tourists were around, I guess it shows that people respect this place.

Tourist friendly ticket machines

Their trains have this second door to avoid accidents while passengers are waiting for the train to arrive.

We hopped on the train to go, where else, Disneyland! =)

Disneyland

This is grand Fountain with Disney's key characters located at the park's entrance.

To infinity and beyond!

Gosh!

Here's the Filipino representation in the ride "It's a Small World After All." After this ride, you'll unconciously sing this song. It's stuck in my head.

Ocean Adventure

This is the first time I saw live flamingo.

And this breed of duck!

This seal is so huge! Or is it seacow?

If I were to choose, ride in Ocean Adventure is more fun than that of Dineyland's. But I guess that's because Disneyland is for children.

I got to experience so many 'firts' during this trip and I really enjoyed it a lot because I got a week off from work plus I spent it with the family. I hope we could have another trip soon. =)
